JoAnn Boyll
Meet JoAnn Boyll, a Young Professionals Council member making a name for herself in the transportation industry, and we’re excited to share her story with you.
With 4.5 years at ViaPlus by Vinci Highways, JoAnn’s role as manager of business analysis spans across the US and EU markets, and often allows her to act as the project/implementation manager on projects domestically and abroad.
JoAnn’s standout project, the M50 in Ireland, exemplifies her international aptitude. Collaborating seamlessly with a diverse team, she played an instrumental role in delivering this project while also having the opportunity to soak in the vibrant culture of Dublin.
Reflecting her commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends, she’s recently been learning more about electric vehicles and on-board Units, while working to complete her Lean Six Sigma Certifications.
After becoming a new mom last year, JoAnn stresses the importance of true work / life balance for younger professionals. Outside the office, community engagement is close to her heart, alongside quality time with her husband and 1-year-old son. A true foodie, she savors culinary adventures, whether cooking up a storm or exploring local eateries. Her green thumb finds expression in gardening and tending to her indoor plants.
JoAnn’s story within YPC began in 2019 and has flourished through her active involvement in the events subcommittee. Her advice to fellow young professionals? “Embrace the unfamiliar, conquer self-doubt, and seize every opportunity.” JoAnn’s journey illuminates the endless possibilities that await those who get involved, work hard, and commit to excellence.
